How much is it?

Entry to Denver BBQ Festival is free on Saturday and Sunday, although Friday's Private Pit Party will be a ticketed event. Barbecue, beer, and more will be available for purchase. You can also upgrade your experience with the Jack Daniel's VIP Pit Pass and our BBQ Masterclasses. More on that below.

What are the costs for the Jack Daniel’s VIP Pit Pass?

For those who are 21 and over, a Jack Daniel’s VIP Pit Pass costs $75 for all-inclusive BBQ and an open bar. For ages 13 to 20, it is $45 for all-inclusive BBQ, and finally $35 for ages 5 to 12. Children 4 and under are free to enter.

Are Jack Daniel's VIP Pit Passes date-specific, or can they be used any of the three days?

Yes, Jack Daniel's VIP Pit Passes are date-specific, and we have two separate VIP events on both Saturday and Sunday. Over on our VIP page, you can select which day you’d like to go VIP — either Saturday or Sunday, then choose if you want the 11:00 am to 2:00 pm session or the 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm session on either day. Jack Daniel's VIP Pit Passes must be used on the date and time for which they were purchased. This will help us ensure that there’s enough BBQ and beer to go around.

Do you have to be 21 to buy a VIP pass?

For the Friday Preview Pass, only those 21 and over will be allowed to enter the exclusive party. For the Jack Daniel’s VIP Pit Passes on Saturday and Sunday, however, there will be two VIP experiences. The Jack Daniel's VIP lounge will only allow pass-holders 21 and over to enter, but we will also have a family-friendly VIP lounge where pass-holders of all ages may enter.

What is included in the Jack Daniel's VIP Pit Pass?

We have several Jack Daniel's VIP Pit Passes available. Your pass gets you BBQ served in a VIP area with private restroom access, an open bar, and a chance to kick it with the Legends of the Pit for only $75, all-inclusive.

Can I eat the BBQ?

You bet you can! Step right up to Pit Row, where the Legends of the Pit will each be selling a barbecue dish and side of their choosing.

Will the pitmasters be selling their rubs and sauces?

Oh yeah! Don't walk out empty handed: head to Pit Row during the event, where you’ll find rubs, sauces, merchandise, and more available for purchase from all celebrity pitmasters.

How long are the BBQ Masterclasses?

Each BBQ Masterclass will last approximately 90 minutes.

Will there be samples at the BBQ Masterclasses?

Of course! The Fergolicious team will demonstrate their full barbecue technique, from raw slab to finished product. At the end of each seminar, they will provide a sample of finished product for every ticket-holding attendee to try.

How many people can attend each BBQ Masterclass?

We want all of our eager BBQ students to be able to soak up as much pitmaster knowledge as possible, so we’re limiting each BBQ Masterclass to 50 attendees.

How late will BBQ be served during the festival?

In true pitmaster style, we’ll keep serving barbecue until we sell out! The festival grounds close at 9:00 pm on Friday (and admission is restricted to those who purchase the Private Pit Party pass), 8:00 pm on Saturday, and 6:00 pm on Sunday.
